The compilations that I post here were originally made for my own enjoyment and that of my family, but out of the generosity of my heart I want to share them with the world ! They are made with tracks from my own vinyl collection but also from tracks that I've collected trough the years from all over the internet. It's impossible to credit the original poster, but consider yourself utterly thanked.

Blow That Horn !

Monsieur Maurice is still in Command and will be for the next few months !
Today he presents to you a compilation of Brass oriented tracks from my personal Command records collection.
Doc Seveninsen, Urbie Green... even Benny Goodman... (I know that a clarinet isn't exactly a brass instrument but bear with me...) all with the excellent typical Command Stereo approach.

    Excellent comp of great tunes by great musicians. The Goodman cuts are from one of my favorite Benny LPs of Paris-themed tunes. I first had it as a double LP with Count Basie playing likewise.

      The Goodman cuts are indeed from the album "Benny Goodman.. & Paris - Listen To The Magic" (quite a mouthful n'est pas). Count Basie is also lurking about somewhere in my Command collection. Maybe he'll get invited along too in the nearby future.
