The past few weeks I took the time to dive deep into my record collection. I traveled all the way to the very beginning and I rediscovered my 'Command' albums. I have a good few of them. They were my pride and joy when I first started crate diggin'. I loved the sleeve art, the 'extreme' stereo, and the fact that you could recognize the musicians throughout the different albums. The guitar of Tony Mottola, Charles Mangnate on accordion or the trumpet of Doc Severinsen... I still keep a look out for them and buy them when I come across one that I haven't got. But they don't come across often (not on our side of the ocean they don't...)
So for the next period of time I'm going to concentrate on the Spectacular Stereo Sound of Space Age Music.
Here's the first offering of the 'MM is in Command' Series:

The focus in this one is on 'percussion'. All my own rips from my personal vinyl collection.
Because this series is quite time consuming in the making, I'm going to post the next installment the first of December. This will give me the time to work on them.
Enjoy and let me know in the comments what you think !
