Stowaway Record

The Kaleidoscope boxset I published during the weeks  before contained a stowaway when I bought it in a local thrift store. It's the third record of a similar boxset, called "Our Total Appreciation Album" Issued  by RCA-Victor in 1973.

(generic picture)
Similar to the previous postings it contains a variety of  styles, from country to (semi) classical.

Side 1
01 Cass Elliot - Oh Babe What Would You Say
02 Shep Fields and his Rippling Rhythm Orch (Bobby Goday vocal) - It Looks Like Rain In Cherry Blossom Lane
03 Ed Ames - Wives and Lovers
04 Peter Nero  - Alfie
05 Waylon Jennings & Jessi Colter -  Bridge over Troubled Water

Side 2
01 Chet Atkins -  Remember You
02 The Main Ingredient -  Everybody Plays the Fool
03 Fats Waller and his Rhythm - Dinah
04 Norman Luboff Conducting a 100 Voice Chorus and the RCA Symphony Orch. - That Old Black Magic
05 Boston Pops Orch, Arthur Fiedler cond - Grand Canyon Suite :  Fourth Movement :  Sunset

My favorites are the Peter Nero and the Chet Atkins track.

Due lack of time there won't be a post next weekend. But please come back  to take a look at the new theme in February !
